Still no Readers

*tsk tsk*
This blog must be a failure. No one but me and possibly my cousin reads this!! What am I doing wrong??? Oh, yeah... talking about what I want to talk about instead of what other people like... Also, I have no pattern here. Well, except maybe whining about stuff. But overall I just have no way to keep readers unless I keep consistent... which I don't... and won't. Because who wants to be consistent?
Pudding is consistent.
People are not consistent.
I just finished reading the book I Hunt Killers by Barry Lyga.
Disturbing a tad... When I finished I felt very restless and agitated, like I couldn't sit still. And I didn't for a few hours. It was a good book though... creepy... real. I enjoyed it, couldn't put it down. I don't want to give anything away though... *laughs* LOL!! Not like anyone is going to read this anyway!!
This si sort of like a diary almost... except I'm not stupid enough to put information on here that's sensitive. Let's call it therapy :) Yes, this blog is my therapy. I should get everyone in my Creative Writing class to start a blog. Posting weekly even is nice. It's kind of like a release, depending on what you post. Since I post nonsense half the time I consider a release. I suppose if I was stuck in the constraints of say a "writing blog" or a "feminist blog" or something like that I wouldn't have much freedom. I like freedom.
Anyway, I have to go. May or may not continue this in the next couple days... BYE!

Sisters

I asked my little sister this morning what I should blog about today and she said, "Blog about your amazing sister!" And I said, "Okay, sisters."
So that's why this blog is about sisters. I'm not sure I have a lot to say about sisters. I have two younger ones who sometimes annoy me half to death twice and sometimes decide to surprise me by being nice. They usually fight each other more than they fight me though which is good... for me.
My youngest sister comandeers the computer all day and plays weird lego games. The other one takes the TV and watches hours upon hours of Doctor Who. I used to like that show but I think I overthought it one too many times and now it's just not that fun to watch. That one is more annoying because she's just at that age when everything is hers and no one else's opinion matters. It's frustrating to say the least.
...
I think that's really all I have to say about sisters right now. I love 'em both but they can be irritating.

Substitute Teachers

There are a 3 types of substitute teachers:

Controlling: Doesn't allow talking, eating, sitting, standing, reading, or writing. Walks around and reads everything over your shoulder to make sure you're doing exactly what you're supposed to do. Responds to questions with something like, "You should have been paying attention when I explained it the first time."

Partially Laid Back: Allows talking but only quietly and walks around to make sure you're doing the work but doesn't read over your shoulder. Responds to questions with, "I'm not sure what your teacher had in mind. Why don't you keep working and ask them when they are back tomorrow?"

Non-Existent Laid Back: Allows students to do anything they want, trusting that they aren't doing anything their teacher would disapprove. Attempts polite conversation with some of the students but doesn't walk around the room. Responds to questions with a shrug.

The third option is always a class favorite except with the really smart kids who are actually trying to get work done. I work on stuff in class when there's a sub but I like the third option best because then I can get stuff done in the proper environment. I can also collaborate with my peers and talk about the projects.
That's all I have to say about that for now.

See? This is my lame attempt at a comeback.

I'm sure it is. Or perhaps this blog will hang on slowly possibly through the summer months ahead. But I don't know. Depends on whether I can think of some really awesome topics to talk about...

How about things that are important?

Know what? Never mind. I have a headache and homework. Maybe I'll write on this tomorrow. In the mean time this blog will have to consider this post its life support.

QUICK!! Does anyone know CPR???

Because I think this blog is dying!!!

Well, it was fun while it lasted... Okay, knowing me, this is actually a revival. I'll probably start once again faithfully writing on this. If you can call what I've been doing "faithful" which I doubt. Even if you stretch the word a bit you still don't get what I've been doing. More likely this will begin once again my series of random postings...
I wish I actually had some followers to excite with this news... Ah well, can't have everything in life. I suppose...
Anyway... So... Both terrible words to begin with. I guess since this is supposed to be whatever comes to my mind I should talk about something... that has come to my mind... I know! Doctor Who!
It's a great TV show but the Timelords in it really were stupid. The humans were smart and went out into all the universe and made lives, furthering the human race. Even if Earth was destroyed there would still be people out there. But the Timelords? Nah! They're "too good" for that! They just sat on their little world, reveling in their own power, contemplating all the power they had, thinking about controling their power. I think they were just power-hungry little jerks.
They think they're so special just because they can travel through time but seriously, how awesome can a race be that was wiped out by the Daleks? The Daleks!! The worst bad guys ever! I mean, it's a tin can with a plunger! Oh and a death ray... but a PLUNGER! What's the plunger for (link goes to an Eddie Izzard video. Swears a bit but it's funny)??? It doesn't make any sense. Also, do any Doctor Who bad guys have any sense of future planning?

Dalek: Exterminate! Exterminate!
Human: What about after we're all dead?
Dalek: Then Daleks will rule the universe! We will reign supreme!
Human: Yeah, but then what? What are you gonna do with the universe?
Dalek: We will rule it!
Human: But what are you gonna rule? There'll be nothing left but Daleks.
Dalek: That's because we will be supreme!
Human: Well so what? You'll be all alone! You're only purpose is to destroy everything that's not a Dalek! What are you going to do when everything that isn't Dalek has been destroyed?
Dalek: ...
Human: That's what I thought.

There's just no forward planning! Same with the Cybermen. They're only purpose is to destroy stuff but eventually there'll be nothing left to destroy. Where does that leave them? Obviously, there is a flaw in their programming.
Anyway, I was really supposed to be talking about the Timelords. They just think they're better than everyone and then they all just die. What a waste. Their selfishness ruined them. They could have been so much better but they had to go and get on their high horse and play king of the universe. What a waste.

Pride goes before destruction,
And a haughty spirit before a fall.

Back to School

I'm back at school now... *sigh*
I didn't get everything done during break that I wanted but I got a lot done so I feel good about that. It's not great to be back in school but it's nice to see friends again. I'm not all that excited about AP Euro though... It's getting really tough and not knowing for sure if I'm going to take the test or not is not making it any easier for me to work.
Right now I'm sitting in my math class... not doing math. But now I just found out that he posted another assignment *sigh again*
I'd better get on that. Maybe I'll post again later in CW.

Accomplishments April 4th-6th

Here is my newest list of goals completed and those still to be done:
  • Complete two review packets for AP Euro
  • Finish the big book assignment for AP Euro (Started and over halfway done)
  • Make a CW project (letters maybe?)
  • Take down my last CW project in the garage
  • Finish writing a chapter in Gideon
  • Finish writing Charlotte's short story
  • Find my knitting book and folder with my short story in it
As you can see, I still have things to do. However, this list is anything but all-inclusive as to all the goals and things that needed to be done that came up during this break. I didn't even put my English assignment on the list. And right now, that's priority... My big book assignment will have to wait until I finish some other things. Tomorrow being Saturday, it's crunch time. I need a tentative schedule in order to stay on track:

Get up at 9:30 and get ready for the day
Read 1984 from 10 to 11
Take a break, watch TV, relax, and eat lunch from 11 to 12:45ish
Read quiz from 1 to 1:30
Work on packets from 1:45 to 2:30
Read 1984 from 2:45 to 3:30
Take a break for a few minutes, listen to Sahara and clean my room
Read quiz from 4 to 4:30
Read Genesis from 4:30 to 5
Break for dinner
Work on big book assignment from 6:30 to 7
Read quiz from 7 to 7:30
Call it a day and chill until bedtime

There are many holes in this schedule. But I have no idea what might come up. Saturdays for me are usually free of distraction but you never know... I just want to be prepared for the day. It looks like I'll be doing an awful lot of reading.

Accomplishments April 1st-3rd

I'm just bad at writing on this everyday.
So for April First, I finished writing a chapter of Gideon.
April Second, I started on my big book assignment for AP Euro
April Third, I worked more on my book assignment and I took down most of my CW project in the garage.

So I'm moving right along on my goals list.
  • Complete two review packets for AP Euro
  • Finish the big book assignment for AP Euro (Started)
  • Make a CW project (letters maybe?)
  • Take down my last CW project in the garage (Started)
  • Finish writing a chapter in Gideon
  • Finish writing Charlotte's short story
  • Find my knitting book and folder with my short story in it
That's where I am right now. Which is good. I'd like to get more than this list done but at the rate I'm going I need to really get moving on some stuff. I want to finish another chapter of Gideon this week b/c then I'll have the sixth chapter done and I can take a break until after June 5th. I don't know if I'm going to finish my Charlotte story at all, I don't really like it much. I do need to finish a different short story called "Snowed In", it's about my quiz team :)
I'm going to start a review packet today and get more of my CW project taken down. But I won't be able to finish that one completely until the weekend.

Well, I am making cookies and the timer is about to go off, so I must go.
